Using ultrasonic bone cutting machine combined with the new German AESCULAP technology will minimize wound and pain. What is V-line face?V-line osteotomy is mandible reduction plus chin reduction. If the patients have wide mandible and chin but undergo mandible reduction only, there will be an imbalance between reduced mandible and unreduced chin.To make it harmonized, both mandible and chin should be reduced together. Most plastic surgeons call this as mandible reduction and chin reduction instead of V-line osteotomy.
It means so-called V-line face type with small and oval face and sharp end of the chin. For women, the oval face is a symbol of women and always an object of envy. It is said that functional cosmetics, meridian massage and dietary treatment makes an oval face, but all of these use temporary ways to reduce thickness of subcutaneous fat or muscle. V-line Prominent mandible reduction, is a combination of the existing Prominent mandible osteotomy and new form of Prominent mandible reduction, in which width and appearance of the chin end is changed while the chin line is maximally reduced without touch of the nerve in the lower chin.
In the existing Prominent mandible osteotomy, only the angled part of the sides is excised. Therefore, in case of quadrangular face and blunt mandible below the mouth, the face still looks wide and quadrangular, in spite of surgery, when seen from the front.

V-line Prominent mandible reduction is the procedures which enables U-line face type to be V-line face type with oval chin end, which could not be solved by the existing Prominent mandible oeteotomy or mandible surgery alone, by excising the angled parts in the side appearance while bringing together wide parts of the chin end.
V-line Prominent mandible reduction has originally been performed with the purpose of treatment for cancers or diseases, but was first combined with plastic surgery by Dr. Nam, which was published on Korean Society of Plastic Surgery in general, producing a new topic of conversation in Vietnam in seperate.
