Healthcare Opportunities for International Patients

Medical Tourism Vietnam works with healthcare providers across Vietnam and Asia to help international patients explore treatment options and make informed decisions about their care.

Asia’s healthcare landscape brings together longstanding medical traditions and increasingly sophisticated modern healthcare. In Vietnam and China, traditional approaches such as herbal medicine and acupuncture continue alongside contemporary hospitals offering advanced diagnostics, surgery, cancer treatment, dental care, preventive medicine and other specialist services.

For international patients, this creates opportunities—but also choices.

From time to time, participating hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers may make special offers, preferred arrangements or additional services available to patients who enquire through Medical Tourism Vietnam.

These opportunities may relate to dental care, cosmetic procedures, health screening, wellness and recovery, or specialist medical treatment.

There is no charge to patients for making an initial enquiry or receiving information about available patient offers.

Patient Offers Without Compromising Patient Choice

A special offer should never determine where a patient receives healthcare.

Medical Tourism Vietnam’s patient-first approach means that patients should consider the suitability of the provider, proposed treatment, clinical expertise, expected follow-up and overall cost—not simply a promotional price.

An offer communicated through Medical Tourism Vietnam does not mean that a particular provider or treatment is appropriate for every patient.

Where medical or dental treatment is involved, clinical suitability and final treatment recommendations must be determined by the treating healthcare professional following individual assessment.

Patients remain free to compare providers, request additional information, obtain other quotations and decide whether or not to proceed.

What Is a Selected Patient Offer?

A Selected Patient Offer is an arrangement that a participating healthcare provider makes available to eligible international patients.

Depending on the provider and treatment, this might include:

  • a complimentary initial consultation or case review;
  • preliminary review of medical or dental records;
  • a digital smile assessment or cosmetic treatment consultation;
  • preferential treatment pricing;
  • selected diagnostic services;
  • international patient assistance;
  • interpretation or communication support;
  • airport or local transfer arrangements; or
  • another provider-specific service or benefit.

Not every offer will include these services.

Availability, eligibility and terms may vary according to the provider, treatment required and individual patient circumstances.

Current Selected Patient Offers

Medical Tourism Vietnam is developing this section with selected hospitals, dental clinics and healthcare providers.

Rather than publishing promotional offers that may quickly become outdated, we encourage patients to contact us to ask whether a current patient offer may be relevant to the treatment they are considering.

As individual arrangements are confirmed, selected opportunities can also be featured on this page.

Dental Care and Cosmetic Dentistry

International patients considering dental treatment in Vietnam may be able to access selected arrangements through participating dental providers.

These may relate to cosmetic dentistry, veneers, restorative dentistry or other treatments following appropriate dental assessment.

Medical Tourism Vietnam also has an established collaboration with TrendSmile Dental Hanoi, providing one pathway for patients exploring dental treatment in Hanoi.

A provider relationship or patient offer does not remove the patient’s freedom to consider alternative clinics or treatment plans.

More Healthcare Opportunities Will Be Added

Selected Patient Offers is designed to grow as Medical Tourism Vietnam develops relationships with healthcare providers across Vietnam and Asia.

Future opportunities may include areas such as:

  • dental care;
  • cosmetic and reconstructive procedures;
  • preventive health screening;
  • wellness and recovery services;
  • specialist consultations;
  • advanced hospital care; and
  • selected international patient services.

We will only publish or communicate offers when sufficient information is available about the participating provider and the terms being offered.

Quality. Cost. Convenience.

International patients often consider treatment abroad because they are looking for a combination of healthcare quality, affordability and convenient access.

All three deserve consideration.

A lower price does not automatically represent better value, just as a higher price does not automatically indicate better healthcare.

Patients should consider the complete treatment pathway, including diagnosis, professional expertise, proposed treatment, expected recovery, follow-up requirements and total costs.

Cheap healthcare is not our objective. Better-value access to appropriate, high-quality healthcare is.

Treatment First. Travel Second.

Healthcare travel can involve flights, accommodation, transfers and opportunities to experience another country.

But treatment planning should come first.

The time required for assessment, treatment, recovery and follow-up should determine the travel itinerary rather than forcing healthcare into a predetermined holiday schedule.

The treatment should determine the itinerary. The itinerary should never determine the treatment.

Why Enquire Through Medical Tourism Vietnam?

Medical Tourism Vietnam provides a starting point for international patients who may not know which hospital, clinic or treatment pathway to approach.

Depending on the enquiry, we may help patients:

  • identify potential healthcare providers;
  • communicate initial questions;
  • provide relevant medical or dental information for preliminary review;
  • request treatment information;
  • obtain quotations;
  • ask about current patient offers;
  • compare available options;
  • arrange appointments; and
  • understand practical aspects of travelling for healthcare.

Where appropriate, patients may consider information or quotations from more than one provider.

Medical Tourism Vietnam may have commercial or referral relationships with participating healthcare providers. These relationships help support our services but do not remove the patient’s right to consider other providers or decide not to proceed.

Clinical decisions remain between the patient and the treating healthcare professional.

How Medical Tourism Vietnam Works

Vietnam and Asia: Tradition and Modern Medicine

Healthcare in Asia cannot be understood only through the lens of modern hospitals.

Vietnam and China have longstanding healthcare traditions involving herbal medicine, acupuncture and other approaches that continue to form part of contemporary healthcare culture.

At the same time, the region is home to modern hospitals, specialist medical centres and increasingly sophisticated diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Medical Tourism Vietnam recognises both traditions while distinguishing wellness and traditional practices from medical treatments that require clinical diagnosis and professional oversight.

Our role is not to suggest that traditional and modern treatments are interchangeable.

Instead, we aim to help patients understand the choices available and ask appropriate questions before making decisions about their care.

Why Vietnam for Medical Tourism?

How Patient Offers Work

The process begins with the patient—not the offer.

1. Tell us what you are considering.
Contact Medical Tourism Vietnam with a brief description of the treatment or healthcare service you are researching.

2. We check available pathways.
Where relevant, we can identify participating providers and determine whether a current patient offer or arrangement may apply.

3. Obtain treatment information.
A healthcare provider may request medical records, dental imaging or other information before providing meaningful guidance.

4. Review your options.
Consider the proposed treatment, provider, expected costs, timing and follow-up requirements. Where appropriate, additional quotations or opinions may also be considered.

5. You decide.
There is no obligation to proceed simply because information, an introduction or a patient offer has been provided.

Ask About Current Patient Offers

If you are considering healthcare in Vietnam or elsewhere in Asia, tell us what treatment or service you are researching.

We can advise whether Medical Tourism Vietnam currently has a relevant provider pathway or Selected Patient Offer available.

There is no charge for making an initial patient enquiry or receiving information about current offers.

Contact Medical Tourism Vietnam about current patient offers.

Offers are subject to availability, eligibility and individual provider terms and may be changed or withdrawn. Medical Tourism Vietnam does not guarantee that an offer, provider or treatment will be suitable for an individual patient.
